This is a theology stement regarding the personal view point of Spirit of Elijah.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and that nothing else is. This is the most important of any theology, and if one starts with that and a head full of wrong ideas, eventually most will be corrected.
This leads to the next important two statements. The first is the utter perfection of God's Law, and his soveign right as God to judge the Earth. The second is the fulfilling of the law by Jesus, giving us unmerited salvation, a gift, grace, however grace seems to be less of a perfect word to describe since salvation is about the only place where we hear the word anymore. It is a gift, like the Christmas gift you give your seven year old son. You may tell him that he has to be good to get it, but what can a seven year old realistically do that you wouldn't but him presents. You give him those presents because you love him, not becasue he's perfect, not because of anything he's done, just becasue.
There are other truths to the Bible, of course, but these are the foundation blocks of the faith. May God bless you and show you the truth of his Word, amen.
