Introduction to common Bible stories

I have a list here of some familiar Bible stories and my symbolic or spiritual interpretations to these verses. I have included this interpretation because I know there are a lot of sites that offer literal interpretation of scripture. I would like to add that I regard both a literal and symbolic interpretation as valid interpretations of the Bible. It is harder to see the symbolic interpretations because you have to use the whole Bible to find the meanings of what things are. For example, water is one of the few things that is symbolic of several things, the Word of God and also the Holy Spirit. Here is a list of common words and numbers that have symbolic meanings in the Bible:

Any kind of clothing, even shoes =sins that are covered by Jesus, thus also righteousness
Being naked = being in a state of sin/under judgement
The land of Isreal = Salvation or heaven
The people of Israel or Judah, Jews = people who are saved (also possibly Judah is the Catholic Church and Israel stands for the Protestant denominations, but I haven't worked that out yet for sure)
Husband = Jesus
Wife = church
Star = messenger of the church
Blood =sacrifice, especially Jesus'
Honey = Bible
King = Jesus/God
Lion = Jesus/God
Rock = God
River Jordan = Hell
Food especially bread = Bible
Light = knowledge/salvation
Darkness = Ignorance/damnation
Legs, arms, hands and fingers = will (the stronger the apendage, the greater the will, God wrote the ten commandments with his finger, but saved us with the strenth of his arm)
Eye = desire
Bull = sacrifice, especially Jesus'
Gentiles = people who are not saved
Oil = Holy Spirit
Clean/unclean animals = saved/unsaved people
Blind = sinful
Leper = sinful
Bull/Sheep = Jesus' sacrifice
Moses = Law (i.e. the ten commandments)

numbers

3 = Purpose of God
4 = This world
5 = judgement/grace
6 = man
7 = perfection
10 = completion/very large number
12 = saved men
